Well, time sure flies and what a year it's been! We had a great summer trip and now the kids are half-way through another year of school - incredible! Larisa and I are very proud of them all. They're doing a great job! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Wow! I guess it's been a while since my last post. Time for an update! In the last 3 months we have gone from warm to cold, Victor was inducted into the Honor Society and just rec'd his driver permit (scary!), Isabella and Juliet (and I) are performing in the college production of The King and I (they are very cute), Athena was the top runner in her class for cross-country, Jeremiah is enjoying Kindergarten, and Colin & Keira are as crazy as ever! Larisa is taking digital photography, keyboarding and fart appreciation (that was for you, Liz). Larisa & I had a great time in Florida (thanks again to the grandparents for watching the kiddos). Last month, we celebrated my 40th year with a small party (mostly spent playing Beatles Rock Band with some friends). All in all, it's been a good few months. Hope yours have been good, too!

Summer in Carson City

Well, my kids have convinced me to take a crack at this blogging thing. I have to admit, after reading Ben's, Marae's, Elise's, Victor's, Liz's and others, it looks like a cool way to let everyone know what's happening with our family, etc. Even though the kids are bored right now, they've done some cool things this summer. Victor is doing backstage work at the musical in which Isabella & Juliet are performing (A Year with Frog & Toad). Victor went to Scout Camp and earned 4 merit badges & worked toward 2 others. Isabella went to Girls' Camp and Heart Camp. And, of course, Athena has chronicled her adventures in Idaho & Washington. It's always an adventure in the Favero household. Jeremiah, Colin & Keira are doing well. J is excited to start Kindergarten soon. Grandma & Grandpa Lindsey and Craig came to watch the kids tonight so Larisa & I could go on a date (a rare and appreciated opportunity - thanks, David & Linda!). My sweetie pie has been busy this summer, too. She took 2 classes at the local college: ceramics and humanities. She made some great bowls, plates, masks, ornaments, and other things. She's amazing - truly inspirational. Hopefully, I can figure out how to post some pictures so you can see the kids in all their glory!
